LUNA – HOME CHECKING

Luna is a 14 month old Golden Retriever who is looking for a home with someone who understands this breed. She will be happier as an only dog & where there is someone home for a significant portion of the day, & where there are no children. Luna enjoys holding hands & exploring the outside world including blackberry picking! She is still very young & her house-training is showing improvement, particularly when sleeping in her crate over night. However, she still requires ongoing & consistent training & regular outdoor scheduling with plenty of walks. She is still at the “chewing” stage so lots of chew toys will keep her happy. Luna is showing signs of resource guarding over food & some toys, & this will need careful & consistent positive, reinforcement training. She is crate trained & enjoys having the crate door left open during the day as her safe space. Luna needs a home where the owners can give commitment to consistent training & positive reinforcement.
