SONNY

SONNY  is a 4yr old greyhound & has come into the kennels a very nervous boy. He has lived his life in kennels on hard floor, so he has some pressure sores & hair loss, which is being treated & hopefully he will feel a lot better soon. He is a frightened soul at the moment & will just stay at the back of his kennels, out of everybody’s way & it’s heart-breaking to see him – so we are giving him plenty of time to settle & get to know us. Sonny has never lived in a house, & he is not house-trained or familiar with those noises of everyday, family living,  so we feel that he would suit a quiet home, perhaps with a retired couple or person, so that there will be someone home with him most of the time. We understand that Sonny has lived with other greyhounds, particularly females, & we feel he will need another female dog in the home to help him.  Let’s give this lovely boy a new, happy life & teach him that he can have loads of love & affection in his new home.

UPDATE: 22/09/24

Sonny has really come out of his shell, thanks to the time & patience of Kelly, he is now looking for cuddles & is much happier to come out of his kennel. It just goes to show what love & patience can do.
